Une \u00e9tude italienne, men\u00e9e par des chercheurs du CREA et publi\u00e9e dans la revue <em>PLoS One<\/em>, L'\u00e9tude de l'ADN et de l'ARN dans le miel a montr\u00e9 qu'il est possible de d\u00e9tecter la pr\u00e9sence d'au moins huit agents pathog\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les analyses mol\u00e9culaires effectu\u00e9es sur 679 \u00e9chantillons de miel, provenant des vingt r\u00e9gions italiennes, ont d\u00e9tect\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de DWV, CBPV, ABPV, BQCV, KBV, <em>Nosema ceranae<\/em>, <em>Crithidia mellificae<\/em>, et <em>Lotmaria passim<\/em> Il s'agit d'une m\u00e9thode d'investigation tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressante, car elle est non invasive, sans danger et peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 partir d'un petit \u00e9chantillon de miel. Comme l'assurent les chercheurs italiens, cette m\u00e9thode ne compromet en rien la qualit\u00e9 du miel, que ce soit pour les abeilles ou pour la consommation humaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D'autres \u00e9tudes seront n\u00e9cessaires pour comprendre comment la pr\u00e9sence d'ADN ou d'ARN pathog\u00e8ne peut \u00eatre li\u00e9e \u00e0 une maladie en cours ou utilis\u00e9e pour estimer la charge pathog\u00e8ne dans la ruche.
