Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e lors du 49e congr\u00e8s Apimondia \u00e0 Copenhague, a examin\u00e9 cette question dans trois parcs nationaux italiens. Les chercheurs ont compar\u00e9 le pollen r\u00e9colt\u00e9 par les abeilles domestiques g\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 celui r\u00e9colt\u00e9 par les abeilles sauvages. <em>(Apis mellifera<\/em>) et par plusieurs groupes d'abeilles sauvages, dont <em>Bombus<\/em>, <em>Lasioglossum<\/em>, <em>Andrena<\/em>, <em>M\u00e9gachile<\/em> et <em>Coll\u00e8tes<\/em>.<br><br>Des \u00e9chantillons de pollen ont \u00e9t\u00e9 collect\u00e9s pendant l'\u00e9t\u00e9 et l'automne aupr\u00e8s d'abeilles mellif\u00e8res et d'abeilles sauvages. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s par microscopie palynologique et par m\u00e9tabarcodage de l'ADN afin d'identifier les esp\u00e8ces v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et d'\u00e9valuer le chevauchement dans l'utilisation du pollen.<br><br>Les r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 un r\u00e9seau trophique hautement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 et un chevauchement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement faible des ressources en pollen entre les abeilles mellif\u00e8res et les abeilles sauvages. Cela sugg\u00e8re que les diff\u00e9rentes esp\u00e8ces d\u00e9pendent souvent de sources de pollen distinctes.
