Et de l'h\u00e9misph\u00e8re Sud, une nouvelle \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans le Journal of Pollination Ecology, met en \u00e9vidence le r\u00f4le des pollinisateurs pour cette culture.<br>La recherche, men\u00e9e en Argentine, a compar\u00e9 3 situations diff\u00e9rentes : exclusion des pollinisateurs, pollinisation ouverte et uniquement des abeilles mellif\u00e8res. Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que la pollinisation ouverte augmentait les rendements d'environ 20%et les abeilles mellif\u00e8res de 33% , par rapport \u00e0 l'exclusion de la pollinisation.<br>Ces r\u00e9sultats confirment le r\u00f4le crucial des pollinisateurs dans l'am\u00e9lioration de la productivit\u00e9 des cultures et de l'efficacit\u00e9 des abeilles mellif\u00e8res. Parall\u00e8lement, le canola pourrait constituer une source importante de nectar et de pollen pour les pollinisateurs. De plus, cette culture peut \u00e9galement soutenir une production de miel significative.
