The main pesticides detected in bee products were organochlorine and organophosphate pesticides, neonicotinoids, pyrethroids, and modern systemic fungicides. However, the concentrations of these substances were low and consistently below the established maximum residue limits. These findings indicate a very low dietary risk to humans. Nevertheless, pesticide residues may represent a more significant concern for honey bee health and for the quality of bee products.

 Home
 »
 Highlights
 »
Pesticides in Honey and Bee Pollen and Human Health

["GET
