Um estudo recente, apresentado no 49\u00ba Congresso da Apimondia em Copenhaga, examinou esta quest\u00e3o em tr\u00eas parques nacionais italianos. Os investigadores compararam o p\u00f3len recolhido pelas abelhas mel\u00edferas manejadas <em>(Apis mellifera<\/em>) e por v\u00e1rios grupos de abelhas selvagens, incluindo <em>Bombus<\/em>, <em>Lasioglossoma<\/em>, <em>Andrena<\/em>, <em>Megachile<\/em> e <em>Colletes<\/em>.<br><br>As amostras de p\u00f3len foram recolhidas durante o ver\u00e3o e o outono, tanto de abelhas mel\u00edferas como de abelhas selvagens. Foram analisadas por microscopia palinol\u00f3gica e metabarcoding de ADN para identificar as esp\u00e9cies vegetais e avaliar a sobreposi\u00e7\u00e3o na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00f3len.<br><br>Os resultados revelaram uma rede tr\u00f3fica altamente especializada e uma sobreposi\u00e7\u00e3o geralmente baixa dos recursos pol\u00ednicos entre as abelhas mel\u00edferas e as abelhas selvagens. Este facto sugere que as diferentes esp\u00e9cies dependem frequentemente de fontes de p\u00f3len distintas.
