Apesar da resist\u00eancia, os apicultores europeus continuam a recorrer a miticidas sint\u00e9ticos. Os res\u00edduos de coumaphos e tau-fluvalinato persistem na cera durante anos, enquanto o amitraz e os seus subprodutos continuam a ser amplamente detectados devido a tratamentos repetidos.
