One of the highlights of the visit was a presentation and discussion session hosted by the Romanian Beekeepers Association, attended by the Slovenian and Austrian ambassadors. The meeting underlined the importance of international cooperation in beekeeping and opened discussions on the possibility of Romania hosting a future Apimondia International Apicultural Congress. The visit was initiated and organised by BeeScience, whose efforts helped bring together key representatives of the beekeeping community and strengthen ties between Apimondia and the beekeeping sectors in Romania and Moldova.","canonical_url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/","robots":"max-image-preview:large","keywords":"","webmasterTools":{"miscellaneous":""},"schema":{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"BlogPosting","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#blogposting","name":"Apimondia: Official Visit of the President to Romania and Moldova - APIMONDIA","headline":"Apimondia: Official Visit of the President to Romania and Moldova","author":{"@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/author\/pressapimondia-org\/#author"},"publisher":{"@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/#organization"},"image":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Peter-Kozmus-in-Romania.jpg","width":1600,"height":836},"datePublished":"2026-10-28T11:32:30+00:00","dateModified":"2026-10-28T17:39:14+00:00","inLanguage":"pt-PT","mainEntityOfPage":{"@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#webpage"},"isPartOf":{"@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#webpage"},"articleSection":"Highlights, News"},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#breadcrumblist","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/#listItem","position":1,"name":"Home","item":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/","nextItem":{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/category\/uncategorized\/#listItem","name":"Highlights"}},{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/category\/uncategorized\/#listItem","position":2,"name":"Highlights","item":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/category\/uncategorized\/","nextItem":{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#listItem","name":"Apimondia: Official Visit of the President to Romania and Moldova"},"previousItem":{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/#listItem","name":"Home"}},{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#listItem","position":3,"name":"Apimondia: Official Visit of the President to Romania and Moldova","previousItem":{"@type":"ListItem","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/category\/uncategorized\/#listItem","name":"Highlights"}}]},{"@type":"Organization","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/#organization","name":"APIMONDIA","description":"International Federation of Beekeepers\u00b4 Association","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/","telephone":"+39066852286","logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/apimondia-logo-small-1.webp","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#organizationLogo","width":370,"height":370,"caption":"Apimondia logo"},"image":{"@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#organizationLogo"},"sameAs":["https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/apimondiafederation","https:\/\/x.com\/apimondia","https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/apimondiabees\/","https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@ApimondiaFederation","https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/apimondia-federation\/","https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Apimondia"]},{"@type":"Person","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/author\/pressapimondia-org\/#author","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/author\/pressapimondia-org\/","name":"Matteo Giusti","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#authorImage","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/wp-content\/litespeed\/avatar\/dc87a293c64a8f02ab52eeb54a135d43.jpg?ver=1792750849","width":96,"height":96,"caption":"Matteo Giusti"}},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/#webpage","url":"https:\/\/apimondia.org\/prt\/apimondia-official-visit-of-the-president-to-romania-and-moldova\/","name":"Apimondia: Official Visit of the President to Romania and Moldova - APIMONDIA","description":"he Acting President of Apimondia, Peter Kozmus, has concluded a five-day official visit to Romania and Moldova, where he met with representatives of the beekeeping sectors in both countries.
