The 4th Africa Apimondia Symposium 2026 will take place from 25th to 28th August at Hotel Africana in Kampala, Uganda. 

The theme is Beekeeping for Business and Livelihoods and the will focus on practical issues of beekeepers across the region, including pollination and safe use of agrochemicals, innovations in beekeeping, opportunities in apitherapy, stingless bees as a livelihood catalyst, the impact of beekeeping on livelihoods, and improving access to export markets for bee products. 

The event will bring Africa’s beekeepers together to strengthen their businesses and highlight how beekeeping continues to impact lives across Africa.
