To honor the WBD, the Apimondia Working Group on Good Veterinary Practices in Apiculture (GVPA), has prepared a number of policy briefs, aiming at increasing awareness and pressure to policy makers, in the field of Bee Health.
The Policy Briefs which have been prepared have the following titles:
- Forensic veterinary medicine, Environmental toxicology, and One Health Approach
- Honey Bee Welfare framework
- ‘Myth busters’- Evidence-based clarification in Veterinary medicine and apiculture
- Antibiotic stewardship in apiculture: protecting honey bee health and welfare, food security and combating antimicrobial resistance
- Proposing WOAH international standards for honey bee viruses diseases listing
- Honey bee Veterinary education advancement
- Research gaps in Veterinary medicine: mapping areas that need more data
