A White Paper for European Pollinators

A group of 135 researchers has launched a white paper to highlight the risks associated with the crisis affecting wild pollinators in Europe.

The decline of pollinators is linked to the impacts of human activities and poses a threat to these animals, which play a key role not only in agriculture but also in the environment, medicine, and cultural heritage.

As reported by the EurekAlert, the main obstacles to addressing this issue are fragmented environmental policies and a lack of knowledge. To tackle these challenges, the authors propose 15 recommendations aimed at reversing pollinator decline.
