Today, Apimondia Acting President Dr. Peter Kozmus participated as a keynote speaker at the MariBee – a Bee- and Beekeeping Conference in Maribor, Slovenia.
In his presentation, “Importance and Roles of Beekeepers’ Associations and Organisations,” he highlighted why strong organisations are essential for the future of beekeeping.
From local associations to national and regional organisations, and ultimately to Apimondia at the global level, cooperation enables beekeepers to share knowledge, strengthen their voice, address common challenges and build a more resilient sector.
Beekeeping today faces challenges that know no borders — from climate change and habitat loss to pesticides, diseases and parasites. No beekeeper or country can address these challenges alone.
Strong organisations, international cooperation and connected beekeepers are therefore more important than ever.
Connected beekeepers. Stronger beekeeping. Healthier bees. A stronger future.
