During its annual meeting held in Bragança, Portugal, the Apimondia Executive Committee reviewed a wide range of strategic and organizational matters concerning the Federation and the upcoming 50th Apimondia International Apicultural Congress, scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2027.

Among the topics discussed was the current situation in the Middle East and its potential implications for the Congress. After careful consideration, the Executive Committee confirmed that the 2027 Apimondia Congress will take place in Dubai as planned.

The Executive Committee will continue to work closely with the local organizing committee and monitor developments to help ensure a successful, safe, and well-organized event for the global beekeeping community.

The Committee also confirmed that preparations for the Congress are progressing well. Information regarding the APIEXPO exhibition floor plan and the opening of exhibitor bookings will be announced soon.
