From 5 to 6 November 2026, the Global Pollinator Conference will be held at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy. Considering the ecological, economic and agricultural importance of pollinators, FAO decided in 2025 to establish a Global Pollinator Platform to strengthen coordinated global action on pollinator conservation and sustainable management.

In this context, the upcoming Global Pollinator Conference will aim to define the next steps for establishing and operationalizing the Platform.

The Conference is open to FAO Members, relevant international organisations, technical experts, Indigenous Peoples, local communities and other relevant stakeholders. It will be held in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish, and will be webcast live.
