Strong Start for the 50th Apimondia Congress: First Meeting with Local Organizers Held

Today we held the first official meeting with the local organizers of the 50th Congress of Apimondia, marking an important milestone in the preparation of this landmark event.

We agreed that meetings in this broad format will take place once per month, while smaller thematic meetings will be organized in between to address specific areas of preparation and coordination. This structure will help ensure steady progress and good alignment across all teams.

Our first priority is the launch of the official congress website, which we aim to publish within one month. The website will become the central hub for all key information related to the congress, and participants will be able to follow all important updates there.

During the meeting, we had extensive discussions about the scientific program, the World Beekeeping Awards (WBA), technical tours, promotion, and other key elements of the congress. It was strongly felt that the Local Organizing Committee is highly motivated to work together toward delivering an excellent event.

Representatives of Conmark, a partner in the organization of the congress, were also present and actively contributed to the discussions.

After this first meeting, I am even more convinced that the 50th Apimondia Congress has the potential to be a very successful and memorable event. The commitment, energy, and cooperative spirit shown today give strong confidence for the work ahead.
