FAO to convene Global Pollinator Conference in Rome in September 2026.

Join the stakeholder consultations to help shape the Global Pollinator Platform!

FAO will host a Global Pollinator Conference on 16–17 September 2026 in Rome, a key milestone for the Global Pollinator Platform and global pollinator conservation.

Ahead of the September conference, FAO and Apimondia invite stakeholders to join three online consultation webinars. Each session will provide updates and gather feedback for the Global Pollinator Platform. The webinar session details are:

  • 28 April 2026 for the Americas (11 AM Buenos Aires, Argentina)
  • 29 May 2026 for Europe and Africa (time zone to be defined)
  • May 2026 for Asia and Oceania (date and time zone to be defined)

Pollinators support food security, livelihoods, and the environment. Because conservation knowledge remains scattered, the Commission and the FAO Conference call for a single Global Pollinator Platform.

Stakeholders can help shape the September agenda and global efforts through these consultations.

All stakeholders are welcome to join any session, regardless of location. Timing follows the regional focus, not the participants’ locations.

Register here for the first webinar by April 27th. Read the full briefing in English and in Spanish.
