Kyrgyzstan continues to develop its agricultural processing sector and boost exports, particularly of dairy products and honey. According to local media reports, honey exports increased in 2026, reaching 228.84 tonnes. Although this is not a particularly large volume, it is worth noting that the country has approximately 83,000 registered honey bee colonies. For this reason, the Ministry of Agriculture considers this data an important goal and it is working for export development.
