Ukrainian beekeepers do not want to delay the honey sales this year, even thought the export price could rise further. As reported by the web magazine AgroNews.ua, the current average export price is 3.47 US $/Kg, rather higher than in 2025, when it was 2.49 US $/Kg. According to Anna Kashyrina – the coordinator of the plant protection and seed committee of the Ukrainian Agricultural Business Club Association – further growth opportunities are limited by competition in the global market and EU tariff quotas. Therefore the current price is considered enough profitable, particularly for keeping the EU market as the best buyer.
