Beekeeping is already feeling the effects of climate change: nectar sources are drying up, and extreme weather events are destroying apiaries. Here we report the call of Dr. Sebastian Spiewok, of the German Beekeepers’ Association, for more decisive climate action at European and national level and better support for agriculture and beekeeping in adapting to climate change.
